Team Fit
Stout run blocker who drives opponents off the line of scrimmage with ease. Wilson's athleticism to size ratio is outstanding and his agility for a 350 pounder is something you can't teach. He wins ugly but hardly ever loses; smaller speed rushers are typically manhandled coming around the corner, and he destroys guys when down blocking.
Weaknessess
Technical refinement is a must! Isaiah's hands, feet, hips, knees, and anticipation all need a ton of work. He stands tall in his pass set and lacks adequate knee bend in order to anchor which makes him susceptible to long arm bull rushers. Wilson has a tendency to lunge with his head down on occasion. He heavily relies on body lean and underutilizes his hands.
Big Picture
Isaiah Wilson is a two-year starter from a college that has produced a ton of starting quality offensive linemen over the year. He's got all the intangibles teams are looking for in a tackle. He's tall, long, and wears all 350 pounds very well but also has the athleticism and play strength to match. Wilson is a very raw prospect but his potential may be as high as an O-linemen in the entire draft. Even though the play mechanics are not where you'd like them to be, he was still very productive as a right tackle facing the who's who of SEC edge rushers. He won 90% of his reps against LSU's K'lavon Chaisson and with very little technique. He's a giant ball of clay and just needs a good line coach to mold and develop him into the stud RT he potentially could be. Athleticism:

Isaiah Wilson possesses the perfect blend of prototypical size, length, strength, and agility that teams look for in an offensive tackle. The twenty-one year old, two year starter is ultra raw but equally athletic. He possesses adequate flexibility in his hips but will need to improve his knee bend. His change of direction is very good when anticipating the redirect but his wide stance works against his ability to cut back to the inside against quicker speed rushers. Currently better as a run blocker but the more reps and refinement, the more versatile he'll become.

Big Play Ability
Devastating in-line blocker, Wilson had his way with DT's such as Javon Kinlaw and other high caliber defensive linemen when down blocking. Isaiah's lower body strength and active feet equate to a true body mover, who can consistently create movement off of the line of scrimmage. He's strong at the point of attack and explodes out of his stance when head up with defenders, driving them several yards downfield and opening up lanes that garnish big gains by his running backs. He was rarely asked to pull but certainly has the athleticism and skill set to do so and has tremendous blocking angles in space. Hand technique is inconsistent and placement is often very wide.
Pass Blocking:
6.63
The right tackle's pass technique needs a ton of refinement; his hand placement is lacking, he often locks his elbows, and heavily relies on his physical gifts. Wilson's 1st step and quick set is very good. The kick slide is smooth but his feet are often too far apart to properly redirect. He gets out of his stance in a hurry but tends to overstep the corner and rarely keeps his hips parallel to the line of scrimmage which makes him susceptible to inside counters and spin moves. At 6'6" 350 pounds, Wilson tends to sit high in his stance and often gets beat with proper leverage technique from lengthy bull rushers such as Texas's Charles Omenihu in 2018. Overall, he needs work as a pass blocker but wins ugly a whole lot more than he loses.

In terms of consistency, he wins but it's not pretty. The Motor and effort is outstanding, he never takes plays off and is willing to chance blocks downfield in anticipation of a D'Andre Swift cut back. From a production standpoint, you'd like to see less pressures given up but a majority of his sacks can be linked to the quarterback's inability to get rid of the ball in a timely manner.

Lacks play instincts, which can be tied to playing time and only starting for two years at Georgia. He cleaned up his game from year one to year two and has shown enough growth to believe he'll continue to develop as a pass blocker. At times he looked out of sync with his G/TE/RB's when transferring blocking responsibilities.
